Zebra?

Yesterday Allysen got up earlier than usual - it was about 6:25 a.m. and she was in her crib talking. I knew it was just a matter of time before the talking became yelling, so I went in to get her. I pulled her and her "bicky" (blanket) out of the crib and we sat for a few minutes in the rocking chair - doing some cuddling that doesn't get done often enough it seems.

She sat up and looked at the border on her wall - it is a jungle themed border so she loves to name the animals and especially point out the monkeys. She started naming them as I would point to them - Bird! Effant (elephant)! Lion! Turtle!

When I pointed to the zebra, she gave at me a confused look and said "um....cow?"

Good guess. We'll work on that one next time.
