I started this blog with such good intentions...turns out life happens...
I am currently in Kansas City, MO for some H&R Block training, so there hasn't been a lot of time to blog.
I will be home on Friday tho, just enough time to get ready for Allysen's FIRST birthday!!! We're having a small family party and then a bonfire later that evening. I can't believe my baby is almost 1! I should be able to actually post some pictures and a little longer entry.

Where to begin?
I would like to catch everyone up, and all get on the same page - since I'm randomly starting this blog at no specific place in our lives. This way, as time goes on, and I post things, everyone will have some kind of background!
Marc and I were married July 26, 2008 in an amazing ceremony at our home. Maybe one day I'll post a picture or two! We were lucky enough to have the time to take a 19 day honeymoon (I would highly recommend it!) right after the wedding. We spent a few days in Duluth, a week at Lake Vermillion near Ely, MN, and the remainder at Marc's parents house near Bemidji on Lake Marquette.
We came home and returned to our regular lives. Two months later, we found out we were about 6 weeks pregnant!! On June 19, 2009 we experienced the greatest event to date in either of our lives (and its going to be a toughie to top), the birth of our daughter - Allysen Sophia Wagner.
Fast forward to the beginning of this blog. Allysen is now rapidly (too rapidly if you ask me) approaching her first birthday. She's a super good crawler - and really fast - and she FINALLY cut her first tooth about a week ago. Back in November, just in time for the premier of Twilight: New Moon, Allysen's "canine" teeth came through but never have come all the way down. Yes, you read this correctly, my daughter produced fangs on the same day as the vampire movie came out. Awesome. She loves to talk and babble. She says mama, dada, papa and num num num for bottle. She also says duh-duh. We think this refers to our German Shepard, Dakota. I call her "Duh", and anyone that knows her knows why. She's quite possibly the smartest dumb dog ever.

Other than that, we just live our life and do our thing...nothing too crazy or exciting. We enjoy entertaining at our home and grilling on the deck. We love having bonfires in our awesome firepit in our back yard. We have fun living and playing in the country, and wouldn't trade it for anything!
Hopefully everyone is caught up now, and super duper interested to see what will come next!

We'll see...
So, I've been reading a lot of blogs lately, and have decided to try one out myself. I know there are some people that don't get to see enough of me and my family, so I thought this was a good way to share pics and stories without posting my life story on Facebook.
Maybe this will be super boring and nobody will read it more than once...maybe it will be OK and people will check up on it every couple of weeks...or MAYBE it will be awesome and people will be checking it constantly for updates...I guess we'll just have to see!
