So, again, I find myself not "blogging" as much as I had once intended. I guess time escapes us all. Allysen is growing more and more every day, and it seems like she learns a new word every day too. She is very sure of what she wants - "get down" when she's done eating, "outside" if she knows Marc is out there. This morning she grabbed her sock, said "ock" and set it on top of her foot, she knows where it goes :) She also babbles practically non-stop with words that only she knows. Mama, Dada, Papa, Gma, Dakota, ball, and her very favorite word - and name for everyone else....baby. She says it constantly. Everyone, everything, every animal - baby...and she makes it a question....baby? Its super duper cute.
She is walking (well, running) now, and is very excited that she can have her hands full, and still be on the move. This was one thing that frusterated her a lot when she was crawling. We spent some time with friends receintly, and Ally had a great time chasing around their 2 year old.
Allysen is going to be Minnie Mouse for Halloween. We didn't know what to have her be, but since Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is the only TV show that she's interested in at all (thats a good thing!) we thought Minnie was very fitting. Maybe I will get some pictures up!?!

Time Flys!
I guess spending a month at the lake takes a toll on the blog posts!! Sorry for the delay, if anyone is actually reading this :)
Allysen's birthday was June 19 - it was an amazing day with our amazing family (and friends who are pretty much family!). Allysen had a lot of fun, a lot of cake, and a LOT of presents! I know she doesn't really get it yet, but I know she had a great time. If you are on facebook, there are quite a few cake pictures - maybe one day when I actually start posting more than every other month, I'll put some on here too. I did make a cake for her - it was chocolate, with hot pink frosting. I think I may have had more fun planning/making it than she did actually digging into it.
We spent most of the month of July at the lake. Marc's parents live on a lake near Bemidji, and we spend as much time there as we can. Allysen has SO much fun there - and we do to!! We made a lot of memories both on the water and in the cabin. We had some friends out for a few days on a couple different occasions - needless to say it was a great month!
Allysen has started to "stand". She starts standing, and then once she realizes she's doing it - she will sit back down, but her balance has improved a TON in the last couple of weeks. She walks while holding onto your fingers, but not alone yet. Aparently, my sister and I didn't walk until we were 14ish months old too - so she's just taking after mama!
I guess thats all for now, hopefully I'll write more before October! lol

"I got to Kansas City on a Friday"...or a Sunday...
I started this blog with such good intentions...turns out life happens...
I am currently in Kansas City, MO for some H&R Block training, so there hasn't been a lot of time to blog.
I will be home on Friday tho, just enough time to get ready for Allysen's FIRST birthday!!! We're having a small family party and then a bonfire later that evening. I can't believe my baby is almost 1! I should be able to actually post some pictures and a little longer entry.

Where to begin?
I would like to catch everyone up, and all get on the same page - since I'm randomly starting this blog at no specific place in our lives. This way, as time goes on, and I post things, everyone will have some kind of background!
Marc and I were married July 26, 2008 in an amazing ceremony at our home. Maybe one day I'll post a picture or two! We were lucky enough to have the time to take a 19 day honeymoon (I would highly recommend it!) right after the wedding. We spent a few days in Duluth, a week at Lake Vermillion near Ely, MN, and the remainder at Marc's parents house near Bemidji on Lake Marquette.
We came home and returned to our regular lives. Two months later, we found out we were about 6 weeks pregnant!! On June 19, 2009 we experienced the greatest event to date in either of our lives (and its going to be a toughie to top), the birth of our daughter - Allysen Sophia Wagner.
Fast forward to the beginning of this blog. Allysen is now rapidly (too rapidly if you ask me) approaching her first birthday. She's a super good crawler - and really fast - and she FINALLY cut her first tooth about a week ago. Back in November, just in time for the premier of Twilight: New Moon, Allysen's "canine" teeth came through but never have come all the way down. Yes, you read this correctly, my daughter produced fangs on the same day as the vampire movie came out. Awesome. She loves to talk and babble. She says mama, dada, papa and num num num for bottle. She also says duh-duh. We think this refers to our German Shepard, Dakota. I call her "Duh", and anyone that knows her knows why. She's quite possibly the smartest dumb dog ever.

Other than that, we just live our life and do our thing...nothing too crazy or exciting. We enjoy entertaining at our home and grilling on the deck. We love having bonfires in our awesome firepit in our back yard. We have fun living and playing in the country, and wouldn't trade it for anything!
Hopefully everyone is caught up now, and super duper interested to see what will come next!

We'll see...
So, I've been reading a lot of blogs lately, and have decided to try one out myself. I know there are some people that don't get to see enough of me and my family, so I thought this was a good way to share pics and stories without posting my life story on Facebook.
Maybe this will be super boring and nobody will read it more than once...maybe it will be OK and people will check up on it every couple of weeks...or MAYBE it will be awesome and people will be checking it constantly for updates...I guess we'll just have to see!
